The Housing Connection is a housing resources email list for persons with developmental disabilities. This service is provided free by the Housing Consortium of the East Bay (HCEB). As a member of this list, you will receive notices of Section 8 list openings, rental and homeownership housing availability and other relevant news. Notices will arrive as information becomes available. Villa Vasconcellos in Walnut Creek. Applications still being accepted (55+)
Resources for Community Development announces Villa Vasconcellos consisting of 69 1-bedroom units in Walnut Creek (near Pleasant Hill BART) for adults 55+. Occupancy will begin in January 2008. At least one member of household needs to be 55 or older. Some units are accessible for persons with disabilities. Section 8 vouchers are accepted.
Monthly rents are based on 20% (rent will be calculated), 30% (rent is $420), or 50% (rent is $734) Area Median Income (AMI). Eligibility requirements and maximum annual income limits apply.
HCEB has worked with Resources for Community Development to provide affordable housing to our clients in Oakland . If any of your clients / customers apply, please let us know so we can work to support you in the application process.

Affordable Housing Associates is accepting wait list applications for 1 and 2 bedroom units for Hookston Senior Homes in Pleasant Hill. Hookston Senior Homes is housing for seniors age 62 and older. All of the apartments are disabled accessible.
Rent ranges from Rents range from $725 to $98 and depends on income and designation qualifications and unit type. Section 8 or Shelter+ Care vouchers are accepted.

If your application is accepted for review, a non-refundable fee of $20.00 per adult will required to obtain a credit report.
